Licensure
St. John Fisher University Wegmans School of Nursing is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and recognized by the New York State Education Department (NYSED). Per CCNE guidelines, the graduate level courses address advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) care content specific to the role and population focus of the program.
St. John Fisher University has designed our programs’ curriculum so that, upon completion, students will be qualified for licensure in New York state. Licensure requirements are subject to change and may differ based on individual student backgrounds, including coursework taken outside the scope of the program. It is the responsibility of the student to determine the appropriate pathway and license type for themselves.
