Register for Classes
Before attempting to register, please:
- Check your account for any holds that may prevent registration as soon as possible:
- Log into FishRNet (@00… and PIN)
- If you have not already logged into FishRNet, your PIN defaults to your six digit birthdate (MMDDYY)
- Click “Student Services”
- Click “Student Records”
- Click “View Holds”
- Resolve any holds by contacting the appropriate office as indicated on the hold page
- Log into FishRNet (@00… and PIN)

- Refer to the attached Plan of Study document for guidance on which classes to register for
- Review class times on FishRNet — be sure to select the appropriate term(s) — and begin to build the schedule that will work best for you so you are prepared on registration day. Please ensure that your preferred class times don’t overlap with other sections.
Follow the steps below, which correlate with those outlined in the video above, to register for your classes. Section 60 and higher are the sections reserved for students in the Fisher Nursing Online program; please ensure you are only registering for section 60 or higher for each of your courses. Registration for classes is available on a first-come-first-served basis, while every student is guaranteed a seat in their required courses.
- Review your Plan of Study (attached) to determine which classes you’ll take in the first term — be sure you’re looking at the page in this document that corresponds to the correct program and program length, indicated at the top of each page
- Log into FishRNet
- Click “Student Services”
- Click “Registration”
- Click “Add or Drop Classes”
- Select the term and click “Submit”
- Enter your CRNs
- CRNs can be found on the Courses Offered page; filter for Term and Program (GNUR)
- Click “Submit Changes”
To verify that you have registered correctly:
- Click the “Student Services and Financial Aid” tab
- Click “Registration”
- Click “Student Schedule”
- Select a date that aligns with your semester and click “Submit”
- Verify that each class you’ve registered for is either Section 60 or higher to ensure you have not registered for an on-campus section.
